Matt Williams is a Director of Photography with credits in film, television commercials and shows. Mr. Williams has worked with noted directors Michael Apted, Hans Petter Moland, Chris Koch, Denys Arkand, Jacob Trollback, Walid Al Awadi and numerous others. He is an accomplished artist who earned an MFA from Mason Gross School of Art at Rutgers, a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BA in Biological Anthropology.

As a cinematographer Mr.Williams brings his artist’s eye and his scientist’s brain to the project of photographing the essence of the scenario. Having shot numerous formats and worked on lensing small documentaries to large movies Matt Williams has excellent instincts and techniques for expeditious completion of any project. His understanding of lighting, developed from years of gaffing, let him efficiently frame, light and shoot complex scenes with a minimum of equipment.
